GVC GAESCO GLOBAL EQUITY DS, FI Clase A
Investment policy
The fund will invest between 75% and 100% in equity securities (Equity) issued by primarily American and European companies from OECD countries, encompassing low, medium, or high market capitalization.Exposure to fixed income securities (Fixed Income) will be a maximum of 25% in public or private fixed income assets, as well as deposits and money market instruments not traded on organized markets. These assets will maintain a credit quality equal to that of the Kingdom of Spain.
Exposure to currency risk can reach up to 100%, and exposure to emerging market risk can go up to 25%.
The fund will invest in derivative financial instruments using a strategy called "Sawtooth" (DS). This strategy involves gradually taking long positions in stock index futures, up to a maximum of 30%, following market declines that, based on the Manager's criteria, are of significant magnitude and are expected to fully recover in the short or medium term. These positions will be maintained, at a minimum, 1) until the DS pattern is completed and 2) until a reasonable time has passed without the index's recovery, as determined by the management.
The maximum exposure to market risk through derivatives is the net asset value.
The fund's management will use the MSCI AC WORLD TOTAL RETURN index as a reference for performance measurement. This index is used for informational and comparative purposes to provide participants with insights into the potential risk of their investment in the fund.
