GVC GAESCO SMALL CAPS, FI Clase I
Investment policy
The key to its success lies in selecting Eurozone companies that meet specific conditions. Primarily, they are required to have a robust and distinctive business model. In some cases, they even maintain a significant international market share. Additionally, they should have a stable shareholding structure and the ability to sustain profitable and sustainable growth over time.Next, the selected companies undergo fundamental valuation, with investment focused on those that offer a higher discount. The overall goal of the Fund is to maximize the fundamental discount of the portfolio. This discount is continuously monitored. Many of the companies the Fund invests in have the potential to be acquired at much higher prices than their current market value.
The geographical and sectoral weightings are determined by stock picking, making the approach bottom-up. Understanding the liquidity of the companies in the Fund is crucial, and regular liquidity tests are conducted.
The Fund will remain continuously invested, with a minimum of 85% of its assets in Equities. It can invest in derivative instruments traded on organized markets and over-the-counter (OTC) markets for hedging and investment purposes. (*Amendment to investment policy as of 01/04/1999.) (**Starting from February 5, 2016, this Fund has acquired the status of a subordinate (Feeder) Fund for the Luxembourg-based Pareturn GVC Gaesco Euro Small Caps Equity Fund (Master) managed by GVC Gaesco Gestión SGIIC.)
